Version 1.2.0 of Stiki OutGuard risk assessment software has been released. Among major changes is a more advanced report module. Future controls can be viewed according to the value of the threats and assets they relate to. This way it is possible to estimate which future controls from the security standard ISO 17799 should be implemented first. Prioritisation is made available by: value of a threat, likelihood of a threat, vulnerability of an asset, value of an asset, confidentiality, availability and integrity. Categorization is available either by sum or average. |
